Advisors – Marissa Moszczyc & Lauren Silberstein

The Juniors program offers a fun and informative introduction to the Fire and EMS world of today.

Applicant’s must be at least 13 years of age and no older than 17 when applying. Members attend monthly meetings and trainings, participate in various parades, community service functions, field trips, our annual Firemens Fair, and compete in the GFD Junior Muster Competition fundraiser. Training topics include fire and rescue apparatus, portable ladders, apparel, emergency operation lectures, first aid, vital signs, CPR/AED Certification, leadership roles in the fire service and more. There is no financial obligation and no experience is necessary. Juniors are encouraged to explore new opportunities and gain valuable life skills.
